About the Series: For many years, people asked Marvin if he would design a Tarot deck. He was reluctant, because he felt that Tarot conventions were too constraining. Then he began to have dreams in which cards appeared or were given to him. Over time, he realized that an “oracle deck” was emerging. An oracle deck is one that follows an artist’s own vision, rather than traditional conventions. Marvin continued to work on the deck up until a few weeks before his death, but he was unable to complete all of the blocks he planned. For this reason, the minor arcana remain unfinished.

Ordering Information: The prints in this series may be ordered individually matted to an 8x10 size, or in larger matted groups of any quantity and combination. A grouping costs $45 per print, plus the frame (if desired) and shipping/handling. The cost of framing depends on the size of the grouping and can range anywhere from $35 to $150. We welcome orders for either framed or unframed groupings, but would especially encourage unframed orders, since these are more economical to ship and do not carry the risk of breakage.
