One year at the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, a man in the most incredibly realistic Satyr costume, complete with hooved feet that bent backward and made him 8 feet tall and fur on his lower half that barely covered his "private parties" (as my niece used to say), came clomping down the street and I begged him to come to our booth to meet his biggest fan. Marvin was enthralled. Later we discussed and decided that yes, Pan in the 1990s would have pierced nipples. Not out of character at all.

Have you ever read "Jitterbug Perfume" by Tom Robbins? You really must.

Woodcut, with the background carved with the grain, and of course watercolor.

Framed/matted size 16" x 20"
