The books on Marvin's shelves could serve as the Philosophy section of a school library. He loved all religions for the stories they had to tell, and of course for the pictures/illustrations he could draw from them. The thoughts and beliefs of others regarding what life is all about were of particular interest to him, and it's no surprise he believed deep down in the existence of the supernatural. He could hold his own in any philosophical or spiritual discussion, and it all served as nourishment to his artistic expression.
